Filming of Black Days, which focuses on Chris Cornell’s final days, will begin next month. The film stars Johnny Holiday in the role of Chris Cornell.
The life of grunge music icon Chris Cornell, who was the band’s vocalist until the breakup of the Grunge band Soundgarden and later formed the band Audioslave, is adapted to the screen. Filming of Black Days, which will focus on the musician’s final days, will begin in September.
The film, which will be produced by Los Angeles-based production company AmeriFilms LLC and Road Rage Films, is based on real events in the final days of grunge music icon Chris Cornell. Cornell was found hanging in his room at the MGM Grand Detroit hotel in 2017.
Johnny Holiday To Star In Chris Cornell Role
The film stars Chris Cornell as Johnny Holiday. Holiday had played Luther Perkins on the Series Sun Records, released in 2017. He also appeared in the 2005 James Mangold film Walk the Line, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon and Ginnifer Goodwin.
The film’s producers say widespread measures will be taken due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The filming of the actors will take place in small teams. The teams will perform the shots by keeping social distance and wearing masks during filming. Filming will begin next month, backstage reported.
Last month, Chris Cornell’s but unreleased cover of Guns N’ Roses to the track Patience from his 1988 album Lies, was released on Cornell’s 56.it was shared on her YouTube account on her birthday.
